The Heights School

Built on tradition and spirituality, The Heights School is a platform for our future leaders. CCA Project Manager, Mike Gargan, directed this impressive flooring project. A total of 49,500 square feet of carpeting, 6500 square feet of resilient flooring and 100 square feet of hardwood flooring in the lobby, classrooms, halls, library and chapel.

Henderson Hall - MCCS

Much like the Marines, CCA is committed, proud and loyal to their customers. Stuart Stephenson led this project to update the Exchange and Wine & Spirits Shop at Henderson Hall. Using ceramic tile to withstand the traffic along with Bentley Prince Street carpet tile for warmth, CCA was able to give new life to this populated shopping venue.

National Museum of the American Indian

Opening in 2004, this museum, which was 15 years in the making, is the first national museum in the country dedicated exclusively to Native Americans. CCA's Project Manager, Sue Hedges, along with an installation crew helped to create a traditional, earth-tone feel to the museum floor.


National Building Museum

Installing flooring of historic proportion was no small job for CCA. Rich in history, this Museum's Great Hall, measuring 116 x 316 feet, features a central fountain and four colossal Corinthian columns-among the tallest classical columns in the world.

The Durkan Textured Weave product offered a classic, sophisticated look to the office space in this home. A great find from the Alexandria Carpet One remnant area.


American Speech Language Hearing Association

In an effort to physically embody ASHA’s focus, the form of the sound wave was utilized to create a sophisticated yet playful space. Finding a carpet pattern that incorporated a wave for the entrance lobby to compliment a large red wall challenge was met using Milliken’s Custom Image Series carpeting. The installation received honorable mention at the Starnet 2007 Design Awards.


Fairfax County Library

Designed to reflect the historic context of the City of Fairfax, while also contributing to the vitality of its future. While low maintenance and high durability are essential for a public facility, the character of the project’s vaulted spaces also demanded a richness of materials and colors to complement the design.


New Carrollton Library

The sheer volume of traffic was a major consideration for the design. Choosing carpeting that is aesthetically pleasing and yet functional to disguise and minimize wear and tear in those high volume areas, without looking industrial was a key factor.


Carpet One Designer Creation

Designer Cindy Sayers from Creative Design Solutions located in Alexandria, VA accomplished this earthy theme using traditional materials. The area rug, a natural sisal product from our Liz Claiborne collection banded with imported English tartan wool, lends an air of sophistication along with an earth friendly alternative to this room.

Rockville Library

Rockville, Maryland's rich, 200-plus year history is reflected in the creative architecture and design throughout Montgomery County's flagship library in Rockville's new Town Center.  CCA installed Lees Carpets throughout.

Southeast Library, Washington DC

Continuing its long-time commitment to their local community, CCA along with Miliken Carpet donated this 500 sq yd carpet tile project in conjunction with the Library Journal.


Torpedo Factory Art Center - Main Lobby

Product specification played a big part in this 2000 sf Forbo Linoleum project. According to Richard Johnson, Manager, "Long lasting, cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing were our specifications, CCA has met our expectations."

At Printmaker's Inc. Studio 325, CCA's service team was on target. "The quality of service we received was unbelievable. We are very pleased with the results."

Fairmont Heights Library

Using EcoSurfaces rubber flooring, CCA created a functional, low maintenance, and long lasting flooring solution for this meeting room. According to branch manager, Cassandra Hamilton, "The flooring is exquisite; it feels like a brand new room."


Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School

This 9000 sy project using Forbo Linoleum combines a "natural choice" with durability. This product specification allowed for a low maintenance flooring solution.

Cameron Run Regional Park

CCA can truly "Make Your Vision a Reality". This snack bar renovation at the local water park using Armstrong VCT forms an outdoor atmosphere, indoors. The intricate design work on the small project makes a large impression.


Arlington Central Library, VA

The Children's Area of the library is a site for the edification of our children. This 1000 square yard Interface carpet with inset alphabet blocks makes the project as interesting to the mind as it is to the eye.


Yorktown High School

The 60,000 square foot Armstrong VCT project for Arlington County was a three floor addition to the award winning school. Yorktown High School is the proud recipient of the National School of Excellence.


Hillcrest Heights Library, MD

In this 10,000 square foot project, CCA used Milliken carpet tile to create an inviting and comfortable learning atmosphere in Prince George's County.


'The Anywhere Carpet' by Stanton

This beautiful 13x16 area rug, bound by CCA's stellar craftsman, was featured on HGTV's new show called 'I Want That!'


Alexandria Health Department Building

The 35,000 square foot project with significant substrate repair work received an Award of Merit for 'Best Public Interior Space' from the National Association of Office Properties.


The Kennedy Center

The carpet replacement project saw CCA install 16,000 yards of Templeton carpet.


Minnie Howard School

Located in the Alexandria City Public School system, the school opted for Tarkett vinyl tile in school corridors.


Department of Energy

This DOE facility replaced old vinyl asbestos tile with new Forbo linoleum in the main traffic corridors.


Fort Belvoir

This U.S. Army installation recieved a new look with Forbo linoleum in their post theater lobby.


Charleston Condominiums

Lees Custom ModaVation CYP carpet and DAL Tile Travertine flooring provide a new look to this established condominium complex.

One of Arlington Public Schools, this institution's Multi-Purpose Room had an old floor resurfaced with Ardex underlayment and Forbo Sheet linoleum.


Washington Hospital Center

Stairwells patched and Nora Rubber Stair-Tread-Risers installed using StepFix contact adhesive film. See the before and after.


Templeton Condominiums

Wanting to get rid of the old carpet and old look, Dal Tile ceramic tile was chosen for the building's lobby corridors to bring a fresh look.
